Hands-On Controller for Financial Operations
Job Description
Drive financial operations as an engaged Controller. Oversee financial functions including payroll, budgeting, and compliance for a nonprofit community services organization in the Tri-City area.
This role is focused on effective leadership of small finance teams along with collaboration with stakeholders. You will ensure compliance with regulations, lead budgeting initiatives, and support risk management strategies. Additionally, you'll prepare timely financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure proper execution of accounting systems and controls
• Oversee payroll for unionized staff while ensuring integrity
• Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Update the organization's risk management framework
