Job Description
Join West Vancouver Community Services as a casual Gymnastics Coach. Engage with preschoolers to adults by coaching core gymnastics and leading various activities in a safe environment.
The role supports teaching gymnastics through drop-ins, holiday camps, and birthday parties. Candidates are expected to set up equipment, mentor junior coaches, and craft lesson plans. The position promotes a positive learning atmosphere while ensuring safety and engagement during all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and take down gymnastics circuits
• Take attendance to ensure class schedules are followed
• Distribute materials to participants as needed
• Evaluate and assist in mentoring junior coaches
• Create detailed lesson plans and report cards
Requirements:
• Level 1 Gymnastics and Trampoline certification
• Experience with children and public interactions
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Completion of Respect in Sport training
