Guelph PSW Clinical Instructor Position
Job Description
Join St. Joseph's Health Centre as a Clinical Instructor within the PSW Program. Facilitate essential learning and development in Long Term Care environments.
In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing PSW Clinical placements, working closely with students and LTC staff to enhance their clinical skills. Organizing learning opportunities, leading discussions, and providing constructive feedback are key components of this position. You will address any student challenges and ensure adherence to clinical documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent UGDSB at LTC settings for PSW placements
• Organize skills training and demonstrate best practices
• Conduct post-conferences to support student progress
• Address LTC staff concerns regarding student conduct
• Complete evaluations and documentation for each student
