Job Description
Empower youth as a Group Counsellor at YMCA Camp across Niagara Falls and nearby locations. This seasonal role focuses on safety, engaging activities, and supporting children aged 5-14.
YMCA Camp is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a temporary Group Counsellor role from July to September 2026. Candidates should have experience working with children, and a passion for delivering inclusive programming that fosters a supportive camp environment. Responsibilities include leading daily activities, ensuring camper safety, and managing behavior while providing meaningful feedback to enhance camper experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, engaging program activities for campers
• Implement approved camp curriculum and adapt based on needs
• Supervise up to 15 campers and ensure safety
• Communicate with parents regarding camper progress
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
• Current Standard First Aid/CPR(C) Certification
