Job Description
THE ROLE
The golf superintendent is responsible to develop and execute a sound management program ensuring the Course retains and improves its #13 in Canada ranking. To lead the Resort Grounds Team and execute a world-class landscaping program to enhance our positioning. To develop a strong talent pipeline. To support the Chief Engineer during the Golf off-season. To maximize business performance of the unit. Support the integration of Resort & Golf Operations, ensuring our mission to be Canada’s favourite Golf Resort is clearly articulated and worked towards.
ACTIVITIES
- Work closely with the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional to ensure proper and effective communication throughout the Golf Department and Resort.
- Maintain and develop standard operating procedures for the Golf Maintenance Department.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, pesticide applicator, and safety regulations.
