Job Description
Become a key contributor to prairie grasslands conservation with the College of Agriculture & Bioresources. This role emphasizes collaboration with Indigenous Nations in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta to promote community-led stewardship.
The Prairie Grasslands Stewardship Specialist will engage with First Nations communities, land stewards, and Knowledge Holders while facilitating knowledge exchange and culturally grounded conservation practices. Strong experience in grasslands ecology and community-based environmental work is essential for success. The role involves extensive travel and effective engagement in community settings.
