AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Medical Director for Global Drug Safety who will identify and address safety issues through data analysis and research. The role is key in conducting medical reviews and contributing to core regulatory documents. Emphasizing strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills is essential for this position, along with a focus on aggregate safety data evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify safety issues for the Safety Management Team meetings
• Prepare safety data for safety governance meetings
• Manage safety signals from detection to resolution
• Conduct medical reviews of ICSR and AOSE
• Oversee updates to the Investigator’s Brochure and other labeling documentation
Requirements:
• MD or equivalent degree required
