You will provide geriatric inpatient management, conduct psychiatric consults, and support seniors through outreach initiatives. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive mental health care while engaging with UBC medical students for teaching opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide inpatient management in a 17-bed psychiatric unit
• Conduct psychiatric consults in medical/surgical units
• Offer outreach to the seniors mental health community team
• Participate in teaching with medical students
• Engage in general on-call schedule participation
Requirements:
• Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
