Join EVR as a Geotechnical Engineer, located in either Calgary, AB, or Sparwood, BC, and support mining operations through advanced geotechnical work. Focus on safety and innovative practices within a skilled team.
In this role, you will report to the Geological Engineering Manager, collaborating closely with field teams to maintain safety in complex mining conditions. Your duties will include monitoring slopes, conducting technical analyses, and contributing to reclamation efforts. Engage with seasoned professionals and further develop your geotechnical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in health and safety initiatives
• Conduct relevant technical projects
• Support teams with data interpretation
• Participate in reclamation and closure assessments
• Additional tasks as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering or related
• Eligibility for registration with EGBC
• Three years of applicable geotechnical experience
