Geotechnical Engineer in Training (12 Month Contract) to join Young‑Davidson operations. Reporting to the Geotechnical Superintendent, the role is responsible for implementation and management of the Ground Control Management Plan.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct mine inspections in an underground setting.
- Design secondary ground support (cable bolts).
- Install and maintain instrumentation.
Schedule and Compensation
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off – 11 hour shifts.
Pay/Shift Range: $62,250 – $101,950 CAD.
