Join the Cowichan Valley Department of Psychiatry with Vancouver Island Health Authority as a General Psychiatrist focused on Mental Health and Substance Use programs. Engage with diverse patient needs and work within a new acute care campus beginning Fall 2026.
This position supports a range of services including case management, short-term crisis response, and specialized substance use counseling. As a member of the Psychiatry team, you will contribute to integrated health programs in the Cowichan Valley while collaborating closely with primary care providers. This role invites participation in teaching, research, and the growth of psychiatric services within the community.
