Job Summary

The Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) is seeking 15 full-time General Internists to join their team! Because of Hospital expansion, the General Internal Medicine service is growing and will include the following:

• 24 / 7 Hospital and ER Consultation service
• 70 Inpatient Internal Medicine Beds
• Robust perioperative medicine service
• Clinical teaching for UBC trainees of all levels
• Outpatient Rapid Access Internal Medicine, Hypertension, Pre-operative medicine and Thrombosis Clinics

Responsibilities

The successful candidate should have strong interest in Inpatient and Ambulatory Care with an emphasis on perioperative medicine, hypertension, patient safety, quality or medical education.
