General Internist (200-1692)

The Division of Internal Medicine at the West Coast General Hospital has an opportunity for a 3 full-time General Internist.

The successful candidate will provide the full spectrum of General Internal Medicine, including Intensive Care and Coronary Care capabilities to a 45,000 population referral base. Cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function, 24‑hour Holter and 24‑hour blood pressure monitoring capabilities are available on site.

West Coast General Hospital is a modern facility built in 2001, with 52 acute care beds (3 ICU). Clinical services include a 24‑hour emergency department, ambulatory care, acute medical/surgical care, psychiatry, cardio‑pulmonary, diabetes education, laboratory, medical imaging (CT scanner), nutrition counseling, pharmacy and physiotherapy services. Clinical specialists include anesthesiology, general surgery, urology, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics and radiology, complete with PACs imaging system.
