Join the dedicated team at Penticton Regional Hospital as a General Internal Medicine Specialist. This full-time role offers opportunities in cardiology and critical care with a welcoming community.
The position seeks a FRCPC-trained physician with a passion for patient care. Successful candidates will participate in inpatient medicine, outpatient clinics, and collaborative teaching with UBC's Southern Medical Program. Additional training in echocardiography and transesophageal echo is an asset, but a willingness to learn is valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive patient-centered care in internal medicine
• Cover ICU and ward duties on a rotating basis
• Conduct outpatient clinics in perioperative and cardiology care
• Collaborate in teaching Family Medicine residents
• Develop programs in subspecialties like Perioperative Care
