Position Overview
Under the direction of the Manager, Health Services (and utilizing the Clinical Resource Nurse as resource for clinical practice issues), the incumbent is responsible for
Supporting, participating in and practicing within the mission/philosophy, objectives and policies of the Health Sciences Centre's clinical programs and the individual unit. Functioning as a scrub or circulating nurse assisting the interventional radiologist in the vascular and neurovascular rooms. Functioning as an Registered Nurse (RN) monitoring patient hemodynamics and collecting and analyzing data during diagnostic interventional procedures. Delivering patient care in a manner that reflects professional nursing practice while demonstrating effective communication and teaching skills with patients, family and staff.
