Job Description
Join Pythagoras Academy as a full-time Teacher for Grades 4 and 5 starting January 9th, 2025. Be part of an exceptional educational environment that values Fine Arts and innovative learning.
This role will last until June 20th, 2025, covering for a teacher on leave. You will work collaboratively to develop integrated lessons while assessing student learning through formative and summative methods. A valid BC Teaching Certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in education are required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create lessons incorporating STEM and design thinking principles
• Provide feedback and assessment to support student development
• Maintain communication with parents and students for value-added learning
• Use technology effectively in the classroom
• Cultivate a safe and respectful classroom environment
