Join SouthMuskoka Memorial Hospital as a Full-Time Emergency Physician in Bracebridge, Ontario. Support a vibrant community and serve a busy Emergency Department seeing 20,000 visits annually.
In this critical role, you will engage in various shifts contributing to the health of both permanent and seasonal residents. SouthMuskoka Memorial is a key 59-bed hospital benefiting from a robust backup system and an array of support services. Ideal candidates will possess certifications such as CCFP, CCFP-EM, or FRCP, and enhanced life support training is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Utilize the robust backup system for optimal care
• Collaborate with specialists including Internists and Surgeons
• Engage in mentorship opportunities for new physicians
• Provide emergency care coverage during all shift hours
Requirements:
• CCFP, CCFP-EM, or FRCP certification
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ATLS encouraged
