Job Description
The City of Windsor is hiring a Certified Automotive Service Technician. This full-time position involves hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and adherence to safety standards.
As part of the Operations Department, you will carry out a range of duties specific to certified technicians, including vehicle repair and compliance with health and safety regulations. This role relies heavily on your ability to document procedures accurately and maintain customer relations.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct diagnostic tests to troubleshoot vehicle issues • Maintain accurate repair logs and service records • Implement preventive maintenance strategies and safety checks • Build rapport with customers and work collaboratively • Uphold Occupational Health & Safety duties outlined by the corporation
