Job Description
Métis Capital Housing Corporation seeks a detail-oriented Accountant based in Edmonton. This full-time, one-year contract focuses on advanced financial analysis and compliance initiatives.
As part of the Finance team, reporting directly to the Director of Finance, your role encompasses full-cycle accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and enhancing internal processes. Your contributions will help ensure compliance while promoting the financial health of Indigenous housing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret monthly and annual financial data
• Prepare and send external compliance reports to funders
• Monitor financial performance and develop budgets
• Ensure the integrity of ledger through reconciliations
• Facilitate month-end and year-end close activities
Requirements:
