**Job Description**
This role focuses on safely and efficiently operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift in a high-volume LTL freight cross-dock environment. You will load and unload trailers, move pallets, handle freight documentation, and support general dock operations, including manual material handling and housekeeping, as part of a collaborative warehouse team.
**Responsibilities**
Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift to load and unload LTL freight from trailers, accounting for approximately 60% of the shift.
Move pallets and freight throughout the cross dock, ensuring accurate placement and safe handling at all times.
Manually handle freight (hand bombing) up to 50 lbs, which can range from a few to multiple repetitions per day depending on shipment volume.
