Job Description
Lead innovation in food sustainability as a Manager of Food Transformation. This hands-on leadership role focuses on transforming surplus food through preservation and cooking methods.
As a key member of the team, you will guide the evolution of food transformation systems. Your expertise in managing food equipment and creating effective processes will ensure minimal waste and maximum nutrition. This position involves collaboration on procurement planning, budgeting, and overseeing our grow-container initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evolve strategies maximizing the use of donated food
• Oversee food transformation equipment for safety and efficiency
• Develop systems to reduce waste while preserving nutrition
• Maintain a detailed Food Transformation playbook
• Collaborate on food procurement planning and budgeting
