Job Summary
In Morton's Grille – a high‑volume restaurant, the Assistant General Manager reports to the Restaurant General Manager and ensures enthusiastic, courteous, and superior quality of service is provided to all guests, while striving to build a venue staffed by knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful restaurant staff who are motivated to exceed guest satisfaction and operating revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and counsel team members.
- Apply operating equipment and cash‑control standards and systems.
- Complete inventory checks.
- Supervise the restaurant floor and kitchen to ensure operations are carried out efficiently.
- Continuously seek ways to improve operations in order to increase revenue and decrease costs.
