Fleet Operations Supervisor
Job Description
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Implements and maintains a safe workplace program and ensures that safety is the highest priority
+ Communicates professionally, both orally and in writing, with the National Science Foundation, station management, other contractors, and subordinates as needed to coordinate efficient and effective use of all Fleet Operations personnel and equipment.
+ Plans, establishes goals, prioritizes and schedules work center tasks and work assignments. Receives requests and schedules personnel and assets to meet planned requirements.
+ Effectively lead teams to achieve departmental goals on a daily, weekly, seasonal, and long-term basis. Teams could include foreman, crane operators, HEO leads, heavy equipment operators, equipment operators and others.
+ Ensures all personnel are trained to safely perform their assigned tasks.
