Fleet Analyst
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and analyze the fleet asset registry, including lifecycle milestones, utilization metrics, warranty timelines, and replacement triggers
Support the development of annual and multi‑year fleet replacement plans using forecasting and evidence‑based recommendations
Conduct lifecycle, cost‑benefit, and total cost of ownership analyses to support procurement decisions, including lease/rental versus purchase evaluations
Monitor fleet industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support strategic planning and sustainability initiatives
Extract, clean, and analyze data from fleet management systems such as AssetWorks
Assist in developing dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports for leadership, internal departments, and Council reporting
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
Fleet utilization
Vehicle reliability
Downtime
