Job Description

Teknion Custom Solutions is seeking a Wood Finisher to join our team. We are a custom wood office furniture manufacturer producing a large variety of office furniture. The Finisher plays a crucial role in applying lacquers, stains, topcoats, and paints with precision to products arriving from the sanding area. Utilizing proven techniques, their careful application imparts a high-quality, rich luster to the final product.
Primary Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings and job instruction documents,

Visually scan each piece, identifying and addressing any sanding issues, defects, or scratches,

Apply stain and lacquer to wood furniture according to specifications,

Compare the product against the sample, ensuring a flawless color match,

Safely stack or load product, organized by job, to minimize the risk of damage,

Move product to the designated drying area, allowing ample time for a complete cu...
