Financial Analyst

What you’ll do

• Provide accurate, timely and high‑quality financial reporting, analysis and advice to support our retail business.
• Support Canadian Tire Retail partners in planning, forecasting, reporting and analysing CTC’s anchor retail business.
• Monitor results versus budget, forecast and prior year, provide thorough analyses and investigate variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Produce insightful commentary and reporting to assist financial and non‑financial stakeholders in decision‑making.
• Prepare forward‑looking annual budgets and mid‑year forecasts for various margin line items using historical trends and key assumptions.
• Anticipate evolving financial reporting needs and work with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Participate as a subject‑matter expert on special projects and ad hoc analysis as required.
