Job Description
Engage students in film preservation as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto. Lead hands-on experiences and theoretical insights from January to April 2027.
This Sessional Lecturer role for INF2322H is part of the Faculty of Information's Winter Term offerings. Ideal candidates will possess a PhD or a Master's degree with relevant experience in film studies. Teach essential film preservation principles while promoting diversity and inclusivity in a collaborative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and seminars
• Create and assess assignments, tests, and exams
• Guide practical exercises in film preservation techniques
• Maintain office hours for student academic support
• Promote diversity and inclusivity in classroom interactions
Requirements:
• PhD or Master's degree in film studies or related field
• Significant experience in film preservation
