We’re Hiring: Intermediate Archaeologist
Location: Fort St. John, BC (preferred) or Vancouver, BC
Employment: Full-time
Synergy Land & Environmental Services is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Intermediate Archaeologist who enjoys field leadership, hands-on assessments, and working across diverse project environments. This role suits someone confident running field programs, mentoring junior staff, and engaging respectfully with Indigenous communities.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise archaeological field assessments
- Identify, record, and catalog archaeological and traditional use sites
- Conduct preliminary and post-impact reconnaissance and impact assessments
- Uphold strong health and safety standards
- Support project coordination and delivery
- Liaise professionally with First Nations
- Mentor and oversee junior field staff
