FEMA Comprehensive Disaster Recovery Project Manager

This position may be remotely based and include client travel as needed. The role is part of the internal Recovery Cadre pipeline and will be considered for future openings that align with the candidate’s skill set and interests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strong disaster recovery expert and as a hands‑on project manager overseeing a dynamic, complex disaster recovery.
• Leverage an understanding of the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program – Permanent Work (Categories C‑G) to strategically pursue and layer funding to address needs after a disaster.
• Act as a FEMA PA Program subject‑matter expert and respond to policy‑related questions in a timely manner.
• Oversee a multi‑disciplinary team supporting all aspects of recovery (cost recovery, infrastructure redevelopment, economic development, housing, social services, etc.), delegating tasks, assessing staffing needs, and...
