The Glace Bay Primary Care Clinic (PCC) is located at Senator’s Heath Centre in downtown Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. The Glace Bay PCC provides temporary primary care access to patients registered on the Need a Family Practice registry and living in the Glace Bay community cluster*.
The clinic provides appointments for people who have an immediate health care need that requires care. Patients can make an appointment with a healthcare provider at the clinic while they continue to remain on the registry to find a family practice.
The clinic currently has Nurse Practitioners, a Registered Nurse (Family Practice Nurse) and access to a Social Worker and Dietitian. An EMR is utilized and report follow up can be...
