Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated family physician with rural and remote experience to join Practice D in Daajing Giids. This position is 0.5 FTE, and is expected to start April 1, 2026.The Xaayda Gwaay Ngaaysdll Naay/Haida Gwaii Hospital and Health Centre (XGNN/HGHHC) opened in 2016 and is a 16-bed facility and serves the communities of southern Haida Gwaii. This beautiful facility provides 24/7 emergency care, inpatient and residential care, as well as a full suite of out-patient services. Low risk obstetrics is also provided in a midwifery-led model with physician support.You can expect a supportive, passionate and collegial experience with long serving colleagues in the community who value mentoring both learners and new-to-practice physicians in their unique practice environment.
