Job Description
Lakehead University seeks a faculty member specializing in Large Animal Veterinary Practice. This tenure-track or tenured role will enhance rural veterinary education and practice in Northern Ontario.
The Department of Veterinary Science is launching a search for qualified candidates to contribute to its Collaborative Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program. Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent and have at least three years of clinical experience in equine and rural community veterinary practice. Key responsibilities include teaching, research, and experiential learning opportunities for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver equine and large animal lectures and labs
• Engage in independent and collaborative research initiatives
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate veterinary students
