Lead the charge in quality improvement as the Director of Care - Quality at Extendicare's Guildwood Villa. This key role emphasizes risk management, staff support, and high standards in resident care.
You will assist in implementing nursing department improvements and manage the High Intensity Needs program with a focus on effective practices and mentoring. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability while ensuring adherence to governmental regulations and the latest healthcare practices. Active engagement in staff development and ethical advocacy represents your commitment to outstanding care in a long-term setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the implementation of quality initiatives and risk systems
• Oversee nursing supply management and utilization
• Mentors staff and advocates for quality resident experiences
• Collaborate with the Director of Care on special projects
• Participate in ethical practice advocacy and training
