Job Description
Become an integral part of the lab as an Assay Lab Technician, where your focus on accuracy and safety will directly impact the quality of analyses. You will ensure all required tasks are performed on schedule.
In this role, you'll efficiently carry out method statements while maintaining equipment and upholding quality control standards. A Bachelor of Science or BCIT Assayers Certification is required, along with one year of lab experience. You will work effectively, either independently or in a team environment, with strong communication and Excel skills to enhance the lab’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assays following method statements accurately
• Analyze and report data in a timely manner
• Ensure quality control standards are met
• Perform specialized fire assaying duties
• Troubleshoot laboratory instruments when needed
