Join a leading Canadian boutique lender as an experienced Underwriter focused on Merchant Cash Advances. This hybrid remote role involves disciplined credit assessments and relationship-driven decisions.
We are seeking an Underwriter with a minimum of one year of experience in MCA or business loans. You will review applications, analyze bank statements, and assess risk concentrations. Communicating funding recommendations clearly while refining underwriting criteria is critical to our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and underwrite MCA and working capital applications
• Analyze financial statements and credit bureau data
• Assess cash flow and repayment capacity
• Issue funding recommendations with documented rationale
• Communicate decisions to sales and clients
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of underwriting experience in MCA or business loans
• Strong analytical skills for bank statements and cash flow
