Job Description
Take on a dedicated role as a Payroll Specialist responsible for complete payroll processing. Utilize your expertise in automated payroll systems like Ceridian and Workday.
This position requires a minimum of five years of payroll experience with a strong analytical mindset. You will audit payroll for accuracy, communicate effectively with various teams, and ensure compliance with Canadian payroll regulations. Your ability to manage deadlines will be crucial for delivering timely payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process weekly payroll for all employee types from start to finish
• Audit processing to maintain payroll accuracy
• Handle all payroll-related inquiries and issues
• Ensure timely filing of T4s and ROEs as needed
• Collaborate with HR to ensure records are current
Requirements:
• Proven experience with automated payroll systems is required
• Advanced Excel capabilities for data manipulation
• Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and ESA
