Job Description
Join the forefront of mobility engineering as a Mechanical Design Engineer in a hybrid setting. Focus on innovative designs and technical solutions for rolling stock and infrastructure components in North America.
In this role, you will be tasked with creating a thorough technical Scope of Work for renovation and overhaul projects, alongside developing 3D models and design documents. You'll coordinate mechanical activities with project schedules and deliverables, while managing open issues and supporting production teams. Preparation of Mechanical Design Reviews and conducting engineering studies will also be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage technical project scopes
• Create 3D models and Bill of Materials
• Conduct design reviews and manage engineering documentation
• Schedule and report on project milestones
• Provide support for technical inquiries and production
