Events Manager

Job Description

The Events Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end execution of events at West Edmonton Mall with a focus on creating experiential events that engage and excite guests. This role partners with other members of the Marketing Team and relevant departments to plan, organize and execute events that elevate the WEM brand and drive visitation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualize, organize, and manage all phases of the various events held within West Edmonton Mall including ideation, planning, sourcing, contract negotiations, logistics planning, implementation and evaluation of events and entertainment.
• Identify and implement new and unique events to be held at West Edmonton Mall, including events related to retailers, concerts, celebrities, sports, charities and large-scale activations.
• Research, initiate, develop and foster relationships with potential sponsors for events.
