Job Description
Enhance the cleanliness and safety of Pembina Trails School Division as an Assistant Caretaker. You'll work part-time, Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
This role supports the Head Caretaker with the daily cleaning and maintenance of the school’s facilities. Ideal candidates should possess custodial experience and effective communication skills in English. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean environment, ensuring safety, and assisting with equipment management, all while interacting positively with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• Report maintenance needs and issues to Head Caretaker
• Assist in orienting and guiding casual staff
• Secure the facility at the end of each shift
Requirements:
• Minimum education level of Grade 12 or equivalent
