Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly motivated individual for the position of Environmental Services (cleaner/housekeeper) that is dedicated to both high-quality work and safety. This regular part-time position is located at the University of Alberta Hospital.
The Environmental Service position is responsible for routine and isolation cleaning protocols, disinfecting patient rooms, clinical spaces, common areas, floor maintenance and assigned medical equipment and manual material handling daily within healthcare facilities, in accordance with Alberta Health Services standards and practices. Environmental Services work is done in areas where patients, staff and visitors are present and involves frequent interactions with patients, clients and staff.
