English as an Additional Language Consultant - ENG
Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires a permanent full-time English as an Additional Language Consultant. The position will be located in Saskatoon and commence on August 27, 2026.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation and ongoing refinement of Sask DLCs Kindergarten to Grade 12 EAL programming.
- Lead the development and maintenance of departmental procedures related to student intake, identification, language assessment, placement, transition, and exit from EAL programming.
- Ensure EAL programming aligns with Saskatchewan Ministry expectations, inclusive education practices, and departmental processes.
- Monitor implementation of EAL programming across grade levels and campuses, identifying opportunities to improve consistency and responsiveness, and provide program updates and recommendations to the Superintendent of Student Supports.
