Responsibilities

• Manages a group or function within the CWI technology organization – primarily focused around Type 1 Research and Development with focus on polymers, simulations, metallurgy, and advanced analysis and material research.
• Responsible for meeting objectives within the assigned areas of responsibility.
• Provides leadership and consultation to engineering managers and professional colleagues.
• Educates, mentors and supervises engineering managers and less experienced staff.
• Formulates goals and forecasts personnel requisitions.
• Monitors and approves contributions and updates to design guidelines.
• Supports product line management in the development and commercialization of new products and services through the PDM process.
