Endocrinology Physician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a 200-bed, Level I Trauma Center. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient consults and outpatient care with a flexible block schedule.

Location: Staten Island, NY

Schedule:

• 7 on / 7 off (Monday Monday rotations)
• 8-hour daytime shifts
• Includes 2 weekends per month
• Call required (1 2 weeks per month)

Practice Details:

• Primarily inpatient consultative role
• Low patient volume (approx. 2 3 patients/hour)
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• EMR: Meditech (inpatient) & Athena (outpatient)

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Active New York medical license required
