Join BW Gold as the Emergency Response Team Advisor, focusing on safety and emergency preparedness at the Blackwater Mine. This night-shift role entails ensuring compliance and effective emergency response measures.
The ERT & Safety Advisor will be instrumental in executing emergency response plans and safety programs. You will coordinate safety inspections, advocate for health and safety procedures, and ensure all workers are trained adequately. This position requires strong leadership and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment on a two weeks on, two weeks off schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and assist Mine Rescue call outs
• Conduct emergency drills and safety training
• Maintain inspection records of safety equipment
• Coordinate incident investigations and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in emergency response, particularly in mining
• Valid Level 3 Occupation...
