Job Description
Join the Brightshores team in Meaford as a full-time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Provide compassionate care to patients while practicing in a temporary role until June 2027.
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be responsible for assessing and treating critically ill individuals of all ages. Your role will focus on utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes in emergency settings. Strong communication and collaboration skills are key as you interact with patients, families, and medical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and plan care
• Implement the emergency nursing process for patients
• Support and mentor nursing staff and students
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to unit projects
• Maintain patient safety and professional development
Requirements:
• Registration or eligibility with Ontario College of Nurses
• 12-24 months in emergency care
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required<...
