Job Description
Join St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish, Nova Scotia as an Emergency Medicine Physician. This position offers full-time, part-time, or locum shifts with a flexible schedule and teaching opportunities.
St. Martha's is seeking an emergency medicine physician to serve a community of approximately 60,000 residents. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive emergency care and reporting to the Zone Department Head. Engage in research and teaching while benefiting from a supportive environment in one of Nova Scotia's active CME programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide full scope of practice as an emergency physician
• Adhere to Nova Scotia Health Authority Medical Staff Bylaws
• Work flexible shifts based on department needs
Requirements:
• Eligible for licensure with CPSNS
• Certification with RCPSC or CFPC preferred
• Membership with CMPA
• Required training: ATLS, ACLS, PALS
• Proficiency in advanced airway management
