Reporting to the Manager of Medical Affairs, this role supports the emergency department's operations. You will assess and manage patients, perform procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers a rotational schedule with no overnight shifts, emphasizing work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage patients requiring urgent care
• Collaborate on procedures such as suturing and casting
• Work with mental health providers for patient documentation
• Expedite patient flow during high-demand times
• Assist ED physicians with patient care planning
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Certification through an accredited council
• Registration with CPSO in Ontario
