Embraer E170/E190 Captain – Direct Entry (Type Rating Provided)

The Opportunity

Command the Embraer E‑Jet family (E170/E190) in scheduled airline operations conducted under CARs 705. You’ll lead from the left seat, championing a safety-first culture, crisp SOP execution, and outstanding crew leadership while delivering a refined passenger experience.

Minimum Requirements

• Total time: 4,500 hours
• Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC): 500 hours
• Jet time: 500 hours
• Type rating: Not required — training provided
• Flight time notes:
  • 1,000 hours total time on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 airline operations; or
  • 500 hours PIC on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 airline operations.
  • Pilots who do not meet the minimums may be considered based on overall experience and other factors.
• Recency: Recent airline flying experience within the last 24 months
• License: Valid ATPL - TCCA only
• Medical: Class 1
