Job Description
Contribute to the Royal Canadian Navy’s AOPV and JSS vessels as Thales' Technical Specialist – Electrical in Halifax. Support engineering teams with electrical maintenance and defect resolution in a hybrid work setting.
This Technical Specialist role is part of the AJISS Coastal Support team, focusing on the maintenance and support of naval vessels. You will conduct investigations, develop work instructions, and ensure compliance with electrical standards. Strong technical skills in marine electrical systems and collaboration with ship staff are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct onboard investigations using the Technical Document Package
• Liaise with OEMs and service providers for defect resolution
• Develop statements of work to assist defect repairs
• Identify and propose improvements to the TDP
• Support service delivery with management of service providers
