Job Description
Acero Engineering offers a full-time Electrical Designer position on a 12-18 month contract. Focus on creating high-quality electrical drawings and designs for oil and gas facilities.
Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Electrical Design and demonstrate expertise in SmartPlant 3D and MicroStation. Responsibilities include producing electrical drawing packages, interpreting vendor documents, and conducting calculations essential for project integrity. The role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive under pressure while ensuring collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create electrical drawings for oil facilities
• Generate industrial control system documentation
• Develop datasheets and loop diagrams (SPI preferred)
• Perform electrical load and voltage drop calculations
• Support procurement of electrical components
